If you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours! Sound good?

Well, smack my bum and call me a skin-drum, if this isn’t a mighty fine deal! You know what? Do it anyway!

If you are a decent gamer, you will be playing the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning or Mass Effect 3 – If you’re an awesome gamer, you’ll be playing both. Twice. And even if you decide to do it just once, there are some well-deserved prizes in it for you, for upon completing these demos, you will be rewarded with some extra content for the actual games. But here is the odd, but not-so-odd-if-you-actually-think-about-it-from-a-business-related-point-of-view part: It’s a crossover!

This means that if you complete the KoA demo, you’ll get extra stuff for the full Mass Effect 3 game and if you complete the demo of MS3, you get content for KoA – if you’re in doubt or have trouble forming an opinion on this, let me clarify: It. Is. Awesome.

Not only do we get some nice presents, but the companies make sure that we try both games, hoping that we’ll get hooked – and we just might. It’s a win-win and  don’t consider this method a “trick” in spite of the “intentions.” If a friend told you of a game and you got hooked, would you blame him for losing money when you buy it? No! And I consider these guys my buddies, solely for making awesome games.

But you don’t wanna hear about that! You wanna hear about the goodie-packs we get from playing the demos and I wish to inform you! The bonus content is as following:

- If you complete the Mass Effect 3 demo, you will get a piece of N7-inspired armor and an omniblade (made for stabbing stuff) for the full Kingdoms of Amalur: reckoning game.

- If you complete the esteemed Kingdoms of Amalur demo, you will get Reckoner Knight Armor, as well as the Chakram Launcher, which fires of explosive “discs,” for the full Mass Effect 3 game.

Game on!
