Mass Effect 3: Demo

I don’t know about you, but I’m a little tired of all the fixation on flowers, chocolate and romantic dinners that occur every February 14th AKA Valentine’s Day. BioWare agrees with me completely and have therefore chosen to help us get out of this almost mandatory partner-serving day, with a demo of the third installment, of their most awesome title to date: Mass Effect!

That’s right, kids. Mass Effect 3 – The Demo will be dropping on February 14th and we couldn’t be more excited! The demo will allow us to play through the opening sequence AKA that very special time in our lives where Reapers drop in on Earth for a little somethin’ somethin’ (total death and destruction.) If you haven’t seen footage of this already, I am certainly not going to spoil it for you, so lets just stop right there.

Furthermore we’ll also be able to try out the co-op multiplayer mode, but whilst those with a “Battlefield 3 Online Pass” or what has been described as “other opportunities” can do this from the initial demo release on Feb. 14th, the rest of us will have to wait until Feb. 17th.

The Xbox360 version will be fully compatible with Kinect and if you complete the demo, you will unlock the N7 armor and the omni-blade for the upcoming game: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Finally all there is to say is: Please don’t comment with nothing more than the information that you have a boner because of this (I receive way too many of those;) It’s crude, awkward and quite frankly also unnecessary, as it is to be expected of anyone worth his gamersalt.
